Infrastructure should be boring. In the best possible way.

I'm a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with 7+ years running production Kubernetes at scale — the kind where a bad Tuesday afternoon has a blast radius. I've led GitOps migrations end to end, and I build developer tooling that people actually use instead of quietly routing around.

I use AI daily as a real part of the workflow: killing repetitive work, accelerating debugging, keeping docs from rotting. Not just autocomplete with extra steps.

My north star is unglamorous: infra that's reliable, fast and predictable, so everyone building on top of it can stop thinking about it and get on with their work. If nobody notices the platform, I'm doing it right.

- Migrated the Web SDK pipeline off EC2/Chef onto ArgoCD + Kubernetes Jobs + Helm + CloudFront + S3/NGINX, with automated TLS certificate rotation (ACM replacing DigiCert).
- Rolled out KEDA for event-driven autoscaling and Crossplane XRDs to give teams clean, self-service infrastructure abstractions.

Problem → approach → result

Two quick stories from the last couple of years.

GitOps migration

Problem: The Web SDK pipeline ran on EC2/Chef with manually managed DigiCert TLS certificates. Deployments were inconsistent, slow to scale, and fragile enough to keep the team on call during releases.
Approach: Migrated the build to Kubernetes Jobs orchestrated by ArgoCD and Helm, moved static assets to S3/NGINX behind CloudFront, and replaced manual TLS with automatic ACM rotation.
Result: Reproducible, fully GitOps deployments with zero manual intervention; the same pattern is now reused by multiple components in the video org.

FinOps savings

Problem: The video engineering org was running oversized compute, underutilized nodes, and duplicated supporting resources — nobody could see where the waste was coming from.
Approach: Rightsized workloads, tuned Karpenter consolidation and consolidation boundaries, and consolidated underused services after tagging cost by team.
Result: ~$88K/year in validated savings, a smaller blast radius on node pools, and a FinOps dashboard that engineering and finance both trust.
